For two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of healthcare, research, technology, and lived experience. I’m a healthcare strategist and trained epidemiologist, and I’ve spent my career helping organizations solve complex challenges involving patient engagement, clinical research, partnerships, commercialization, and growth.
 

I’ve worked across digital health, clinical research, academic medicine, and nonprofit leadership, partnering with health systems, life sciences organizations, startups, researchers, and patient advocacy organizations. I’ve supported recruitment and engagement efforts across more than 230 clinical trials and today collaborate with organizations and initiatives including WCG, CTTI, the Pediatric Inclusion Alliance, and the Milken Institute.
 

In 2023, my professional and personal worlds collided when my daughter, Rona, was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. Over the next 11 months, I became her caregiver and stem cell donor while navigating complex pediatric care and participating in clinical research alongside her. Rona died later that year, just after turning six.
 

That experience gave me a perspective few people get to have: I understand what it takes to build, operate, and grow within healthcare and research, and I know what those systems feel like from the other side of the table.
 

Today, that’s the perspective I bring to my consulting and advisory work. I combine business strategy, data, and lived experience to understand what’s driving the outcomes organizations care about. I believe patient and family experience is not separate from business performance. It can influence recruitment, retention, engagement, efficiency, trust, growth, and outcomes. My work is about finding the places where better experiences and stronger business performance can reinforce each other, then turning those insights into practical strategy.
 

I’m also the Co-Founder and Chief Momatologist™ of Rona’s FUN LAB, a nonprofit working to create a world where quality of life factors into the treatment equation for critically ill children. I’m a keynote speaker and writer, and my work has taken me from executive workshops and industry conferences to the TEDx stage.
 

I hold a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University, and am Certified in Public Health (CPH).
